Holistic Rating: Moderate coverage of this standard.
Aspects that help student learning: The investigation using Elodea and BTB (A70-71) provides moderate coverage of this I&E standard and also addresses grade level content standards. Activities on pages A100-A101 and A108-109 provide moderate coverage as well.
Aspects that do not help student learning: Activities on pages B38-B39, C20-C21, C56 and C84-C85 have too many variables to clearly teach this standard.
Teacher's Edition that we used cited these pages as addressing this standard, but we did not find a significant correlation: A76-77, A88-89, A94-95, A106-107, A114-115, A124-125, A126-127, C18-19
