6i Write a report of an investigation that includes conducting tests, collecting data or examining evidence, and drawing conclusions.
Holistic Rating: Moderate coverage of this standard.
Aspects that help student learning:
Two investigations (B66-67, and B130-131) provide moderate coverage of this I&E standard and also address grade level content standards. The activity on pages C62-C63 provides moderate coverage but does not address grade level content standards.
Aspects that do not help student learning:
In general, investigations do not provide opportunity for sharing and critiquing the reports and their various parts.
