CARES Conference Call: Change as opportunity

Description:
CARES has been successful at attracting and retaining ethnically and linguistically diverse members of the early learning workforce in professional development activities, including training and higher education. As policy makers assess quality rating systems, publicly funded pre-K, higher education requirements, and possible changes for CARES -- how can CARES administrators and partners continue to move toward the goal of creating a well-educated workforce that reflects the increasingly diverse children and families of California?

Please join us this Friday, November 21 from 1-2pm on a conference call with presenters Lea Austin from Mills College and Nadiyah Taylor a child care program consultant with Alameda County's Local Planning Council, who will discuss strategies to promote the diversity of the early learning workforce amidst discussions and planning for change in early childhood education.
