Event: Hands-on Nursery and Restoration Education for Youth!

Date: 02/20/2010 to 11/13/2010

Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Description:SPAWN, The Salmon Protection and Watershed Network, is offering hands-on Nursery, Watershed, and Restoration education opportunities for students grades 5 and up.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday students can join us in our native plant nursery to help transplant and learn about native plants, or at one of our creekside restoration sites where they will participate in the process of invasive removal and revegetation for habitat restoration - all the while learning about salmon and other species that call the bay area home!

Please email me for details or to make arrangements. We also always welcome individual volunteers or small groups. Visit our website for more info!
