Thursday, June 10 : Teaching & Learning
We conclude our Dialogue with the critical matter of teaching and learning. The success of this movement may ultimately hinge on charter schools' ability to support high quality teaching across the board. What does effective teaching and learning look like, and what resources are available to charter school founders without educational backgrounds? How can charter schools recruit and retain effective faculty? What kind of leadership is needed? Ultimately, how well are charter schools, faced with significant financial, facilities, and administrative responsibilities, succeeding in delivering world class educations to their students?
