We will have a rough agenda and will keep the ball rolling on this.

Thanks for all the work and effort.

    Aloha,

  4. Next Meeting and directions to it!
    12/19/2000 11:45:00 Don Kopf
    Aloha All,

The next Hawaii Facilitator's meeting will be on January 21, 2001 at 2
PM on the Chaminade Campus in Henry Hall Room 106. The address of the
University is 3140 Waialae Ave. We share the same campus with St. Lous.

    To get to the campus:

    1. Take H1 toward Hawaii Kai and exit King Street. This is just past
    the University Avenue exit.

    2. Stay in the left lane and turn left under the freeway. You are now on
    Waialae Avenue.

    3. After coming out from under the freeway you will go through three
traffic lights (about one third of a mile). At the third light (also
Third Street I believe) take a left onto Chaminade's Campus. There is a
Chaminade University sign on the corner. If you get th McDonald's, you
have gone too far and missed the turn.

    4. Drive up the campus driveway to the "T" intersection and turn left.
Follow the driveway. It will turn uphill and toward the right. Turn
right on the first road. Henry Hall is the last building on the left
    side of that road.

    5. Park in the marked stalls and walk down the steps to Henry Hall.
Wander around until you find room 106.

If you get hopelessly lost, call me on my cell phone and I will attempt
to get you to campus. 375-1177

    Aloha and see you there!!

    Don Kopf

  5. Next meeting and location
    12/12/2000 09:45:00 Don Kopf
    Aloha All,

Just an FYI. Five of us met this past Sunday, Dec. 10
and discussed several items and set the next meeting time. I'll try to
    post a summary
    here soon.

The next meeting will be Sunday Jan. 21 at 2PM at
Chaminade University. I will be posting a map and directions as soon as
    I confirm a
room. If you have any questions, please contact me:
    373-7293.

    Aloha,

    Don

  6. H-1 visa
    11/22/2000 20:54:00 Takafumi Hatano
    Dear all my friends.

Today I talked with Kahbo who is my immigration lawyer. She said "I have a great news for you"

I received possitive approval notice of action from INS. Thank you very much for all of your heart and caring. Kahbo sent the original form to me today. I am supposed to receive it by this Saturday.

I will bring the original form and other important legal document back to Japan. And I will visit American Embassy to hand in and take right steps and process to receive official H-1 visa stamped on my passport.

It may take longer than I assume. It could be in January, February, or March. But my friends, I will be back with H-1 visa.

Which means that I will be here with an opportunity to contribute to the community for minimum of three and maximum of six years.

Dear My friends, no matter what, I will continue improving myself personally and professionally as the quality of the program grows.

While I will be in Japan, I won't be able to contact all of you, but please stick with me. Please support staff at the camp who will cover my position and staff who work hardest for individuals through the challenge course.

Dear my friends, this network is gonna be the most important spice and essence.

Last meeting was super! It will take time I know. It will take so long long long time to create foundation and to say "we are all ready Let's nail it". Please keep up your passion and energy. Please be patient and stick together to make it happen. I will be there and do more than my best non-stop. Trust me.

December 10th is next meeting. Be there and be a part of process and let's celebrate when we will see the beauty of the network in the future.

I will be in Japan and spend with my family. They don't know if I am going back. It is a surprise for them. I just go and show up suddenly.

When I will come back (I don't know when), I would love to share my energy and passion and big smile with all of you and all camp staff and all individuals I will meet.

Dear my friends, thank you very much for your worry and your heart and your caring.

I will be seeing you all near future.
