EEAA is a state-wide professional organization that promotes environmental education to people of all ages. The association is made up of members who are classroom teachers, school administrators, zoo educators, naturalists, museum educators, state agency personnel, business & industry representatives, and others with an interest in environmental education. EEAA is the official state affiliate of Alabama to NAAEE and hosts an annual EE conference, several educational workshops and programs, and a number of excursions for its members and potential members.
