Learning is a life-long process. For older adults, which we describe as being 55years and over, to maintain quality of life necessitates being sound in mind and in body. Computer classes geared towards older learners keep our students in society's mainstream; specific exercise classes help
them maintain their physical and mental fitness; educational and social interaction serve as a support system. An important goal is to continue independent living - senior centers offer community resource and support information. Intergenerational classes provide educational interaction and
tutoring benefiting both young and old students. We cannot ignore our lifelong tax-paying citizens in our adult education plan.
