| Description: For the first time, beginning in Fall 2007, Madison Virtual Campus was launched as a supplemental online program for high school students in the Madison Metropolitan School District. Approximately 30 students registered for 40 courses in 2007-2008. Courses are open to all students within the district, but a compelling need must be demonstrated to register for a course. The program is expected to expand rapidly after its first year. |
