Districts may offer such programs on a calendar different from the rest of the district's instruction. Courses may be developed by outside sources, but must be taught by Idaho teachers. All courses must meet criteria established by the state of Idaho and the northwest accreditation association. The state board shall establish policies for student-related issues, such as exam taking and ensuring ethical conduct and proper etiquette. http://www3.state.id.us/cgi-bin/newidst?sctid=330550007.K I.C. 33-4801 through 33-4810 Idaho Educational Technology Initiative Establishes the state council for technology in learning under the state board of education which is responsible for developing and maintaining a statewide education technology plan to be annually reviewed and approved by the state board. The council is to make recommendations to the state board on educational technology, including standards for programs or practices and standards and criteria for evaluating programs. Also establishes a public school technology grant program to provide Idaho classrooms with the necessary equipment and resources to integrate information technology into instruction.
