State Technology Contacts C.G.S.A. 10-226h Programs to reduce racial, ethnic and economic isolation As one of several options, local or regional boards of education may offer distance learning through the use of technology for the purposes of reducing racial, ethnic and economic isolation. The local or regional board must biennially report to the regional educational service center for its area on the programs undertaken, including information and evidence on the progress and impact of such programs. The regional educational service center must then biennially report to the Commissioner of Education and to the Governor and the General Assembly, including statistics on growth of the programs, analysis of the success of such programs, and recommendations for statutory change. http://www.cga.state.ct.us/2001/pub/Chap170.htm#sec10-226h.htm Online Learning Programs
