State Technology Contacts P.S. 17-1743-A Cyber charter school requirements and prohibitions The cyber charter school must provide students with all instructional materials, all equipment and all technology and services necessary for on-line delivery of programs. The cyber charter must also submit an annual report by August 1st to the department of education and must maintain an administrative office within the Commonwealth where all student records are maintained. P.S. 17-1747-A Cyber charter school application An application to establish a cyber charter school must include the curriculum offered and how it meets the requirements of Pennsylvania's academic standards and assessment. It must also include the number of courses required for students, an explanation of the amount of on-line time, the manner in which teachers will deliver instruction, assess academic progress and communicate with students, a description of how the cyber charter will monitor a student's day, a description of the standardized achievement tests that will be used, technical support that will be available, methods used to insure the authenticity of student work, and the types and frequency of communication between the cyber charter and the student and parents/guardian.
