State Technology Contacts C.R.S.A. 22-33-104.6 On-line program An on-line program is one that provides instruction through the world wide web and is monitored by a district and a site coordinator. Participating students are subject to compulsory school attendance. The site coordinator is responsible for assessing whether a student is progressing on a regular basis. Participating students must be evaluated, tested and monitored at the same intervals as other students. The school district must maintain records including attendance data, and test evaluation and statewide assessment results. The school district must also set participation requirements, and students must demonstrate they possess the electronic equipment and resources necessary for participation. http://198.187.128.12/colorado/lpext.dll?f=templates&fn=fs-main.htm&2.0 C.R.S.A. 22-81-101 through 22-81-206 Pre-K-16 Mathematics, Science and Technology Improvement The Colorado mathematics-science-technology commission is facilitate an improvement plan instituting statewide initiatives to analyze, review and improve pre-K through 12 mathematics, science, and engineering education. The plan is to address delivery instruction, including the use of educational technology to improve distance learning capabilities for both rural and urban schools.
