Support Provider Seminar ($375)

 You will have an opportunity to:
  • Learn about National Board Certification and the candidate process
  • Consider how NBC can improve teacher quality
  • Participate in examining and discussing a variety of portfolio entries
  • Develop strategies for providing candidate support
  • Learn about models for coaching and supporting candidates
  • Dialogue with National Board Certified Teachers, candidates, and experienced support providers
  • Network with participants who have similar interests
You will receive:
  • Breakfast and lunch each day
  • A binder with resources and references
  • Access to WestEd's network of support providers

  • If you require lodging, a block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of August 15-16, 2006, at the Maxwell Hotel, 386 Geary Street, San Francisco, CA. To make your reservations, call 1-888-734-6299 and and let them know that you are part of the WestEd/National Board Group; the hotel will hold the block of rooms until July 20, 2006. Corporate room rate is $125 a night plus tax.
