Evaluating Dialogue & Deliberation

We are working with the Deliberative Democracy Consortium in future stages of this project, but our first stage consists of gathering and categorizing the instruments that are currently being used throughout the dialogue & deliberation community to assess and evaluate the success of our projects. We will share what we have gathered electronically via this discussion group, and we invite anyone who is interested in viewing these tools and resources, discussing evaluation with their peers or assisting us in any way with this project to participate in this discussion. |

NCDD Dialogue Bureau

NCDD is working to create a National Dialogue Bureau that will help to connect the voices citizens engaged in D&D to stories carried in local and national media. The Dialogue Bureau will consist of a network of leaders of dialogue and deliberation groups who are willing to speak with the media about the key findings and concerns of their groups and, if appropriate, to connect journalists with dialogue participants. Those interested in helping to guide this effort in its early stages through implementation, in particular those with a background in media and media relations, are welcome to join this discussion list. |

We will also explore ideas for how NCDD can better meet the needs of new practitioners. |
