Organization Profile:
Since 1919, Dairy Council of California (DCC) has been an innovator in nutrition education. Our family of nutrition education programs - both for children and adults - are field-tested and have been shown to lead to positive behavior change in people's food and activity choices.

We continually strive to be "on the leading edge" in applying the latest education methodology using a problem solving model in our endeavors to support healthy lifestyles. This model is applied in programs for students at key developmental stages and adults at critical times in their lives when they are reevaluating their eating and lifestyle habits. We are currently evaluating our programs and incorporating additional strategies that align with current neuroscience research regarding the biology of learning.
