Organization Profile:
The Bowers Museum of Cultural Art is a major regional resource for students teachers, and the community, providing opportunities to learn about many cultures of the world and various historical periods of California through a variety of educational programs. Each year thousands of participants experience cultures of the Americas, the Pacific Rim and Africa in festivals, teacher workshops, outreach programs to schools, studio art classes and curriculum materials based on the Museum's permanent and special exhibitions.
